Electric mobility: 94% of drivers satisfied, but 91% of uncommitted companies remain so
Published on 4 November 2025, two Enedis studies analyse the behaviour of private individuals and corporate fleets.
On 4 November 2025, Enedis unveiled two studies on electric mobility: the sixth edition devoted to private individuals with electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles, and the second covering corporate fleets.
On satisfaction, the results converge: 94% of private drivers of fully electric vehicles report being satisfied, an identical level among companies. All highlight the same advantages β running cost savings, environmental benefits and driving comfort.
The contrast with companies that have stayed on the sidelines is stark: among those that have not yet begun electrifying their fleet, 91% still have no plans to do so.
Use is becoming routine among equipped private individuals: 90% use their electric vehicle as their main vehicle, up 6 points on 2024, and 65% say they are ready to drive long distances.
This gap between user satisfaction and the reluctance of the unequipped defines the challenge of the coming years: the perceived constraint has less to do with the vehicle than with organising charging and sizing site connections.
