Data4NuclearX: a sovereign digital space for the nuclear industry
Presented on 5 November 2025, this platform aims to enable the secure sharing of technical data between sector players.
On 5 November 2025, EDF presented Data4NuclearX, a sovereign and secure digital space dedicated to the nuclear industry.
The need is concrete. Designing, building and maintaining nuclear facilities involves hundreds of companies that must exchange technical documents, drawings and qualification data, within a framework where safety and confidentiality requirements are strict.
A shared exchange space aims to reduce the delays associated with the flow of information between the client and subcontractors, while guaranteeing the traceability of exchanges and control over where data is located.
The sovereignty dimension relates to hosting: the sector's sensitive data must remain on infrastructure subject to French and European law.
This approach echoes that of the partnership concluded with Mistral in May 2026 on artificial intelligence: in both cases, the value rests on the ability to exploit a body of technical documentation without losing control of it.
