The public distribution grid operator regularly identifies impersonation attempts: cold calling, home visits or emails claiming to act on its behalf, often to offer works, obtain personal data or extract a payment.
The reminder is simple: Enedis is not an electricity supplier and does not sell any contracts. Its operations relate to the grid and metering, and never give rise to a payment made directly to a technician.
This confusion between grid operator and supplier remains common among consumers, which makes for fertile ground for abusive practices.
